Decline of Asian stock indices hastened by the time of closing trades on Friday, because of concern of investors connected with civil war in Libya, negative statistics from USA and China, news on destructive earthquake in Japan.

 

According to the results of trades by shares on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) the KASE index increased by 0.22% — from 1 841.10 to 1 845.20 points, reported the stock exchange. 

Stock markets of developed countries began 2011 with the best indices for the last 13 years, while emerging markets demonstrate fall.

According to Bloomberg, MSCI World index, that includes shares of companies from 24 developed countries, from the beginning of the year increased by 6.1% — that was the strongest start from 1998.

 

Kazakhstan Stock Exchange will conduct specialized trades on placement of state long-term savings treasury bonds of the ministry of finance (MEUZHKAM-120, the 7^th issue).

 

On Friday, February 11, Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of RK charged the Government to work out the program on placement of shares of national companies in the domestic stock market, during the 8^th congress of the PDP “Nur Otan” in Astana.

Karim Masimov, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan arrived in Ankara on a working visit on Friday.

As it is expected, Karim Masimov will take part in flower-laying ceremony to Ataturk Mausoleum and see the monument of the Nursultan Nazarbayev, the first President of Kazakhstan. Afterwards Prime Minister will visit trade chamber of Ankara, get familiarized with the work of industrial zone of the city, enterprises on construction of machinery and electrical equipment.

 

Analysts of Goldman Sachs & Co. worsened by a quarter the price forecast for natural gas for 2011.

According to them, natural gas which is traded in New York will cost $4 for 1mn Btu the next year, in comparison with the forecasted $5,25.

 

KazAgroFinance JSC intends to pay off internal coupon bonds for KZT3bn entirely (current rate 147,65/$1), reported Kazakhstan Stock Exchange quoting announcement of the company.

KazAgroFinance is planning to carry out pay off between December 31, 2010 and Januray 31, 2011.
