Such a kind of project is realized in Kazakhstan for the first time. Cycle of 26 lectures includes topics as “Home Bookkeeping”, “Retail investor”, “Pension and banking system”, “General insurance and Life insurance”, “Stock Market”, “Mutual Funds”, “Financial fraud” and etc.

 

On February 9, Chingiz Kanapyanov, Deputy Chairman of ARA RFCA had a meeting with Toby Moseley, Head on emerging markets of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. During the meeting there were discussed the further partnership of Academy and ACCA on the issues of rendering educational services of high quality in the sphere of international certification on accountancy and auditing standards. 

On February 7, in ARA RFCA was held a meeting with Haseebullah Siddiqui, Head of division on Islamic financing, Kh. Aliyev, Head of countries division (Central Asia and Europe), and managers of Countries division. During the meeting, there were discussed further development of RFCA and IDB on the issues of working out the strategy of partnership between Kazakhstan and IDB, and development of financial industry in Kazakhstan. 

Order of Chairman of the Agency #04.2-40/181 dated November 30, 2010 “On amendments to the Order of the Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation of activities of the regional financial centre of Almaty city # 02-02/158a dated July 2, 2007 On approval of Rules of state registration of legal entities – participants of the regional financial centre of Almaty city” was included in Register of state registration of normative-legislation acts under the # 6712 on December 29, 2010

 

Since January 1, 2011, the norms of the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan that determine taxation of activities with investment gold enacted.

Stated amendments inserted in order to establish conditions for activization of domestic market of precious metals, extending the line of financial instruments by means of enhancing investment attractiveness of gold.

 

February 10-14 of the current year in cities Astana and Almaty there will be conducted lectures on bases of Islamic financing with participation of Sheikh Essam Iskhak, famous scientist on Islamic principles and member of the Council on principles of Islamic financing of the bank, Director and Counselor on Sharia of “Discover Islam”.

On October of the current year ARA RFCA held a meeting with M. Adnan (Mohd Haniff Bin Mohd Adnan), Vice-President of AmanahRaya Capital Group and top-management of Fattah Finance JSC. In the course of the meeting there were considered the issues of further development of Islamic finance sector in Kazakhstan, including opening of Islamic bank and Khadzh Fund.

 

On July 12-15 of the current year, representatives of the Agency of the republic of Kazakhstan on regulation of activities of the Regional financial centre of Almaty city (ARA RFCA) and the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation and supervision of financial market and financial organizations (FSA) visited the Republic of Poland in order to exchange experience on realization of programs directed at increasing financial literacy of population.

 

Agency on regulation of activities of the Regional financial centre of Almaty city (ARA RFCA) conducted its ordinary meeting of the board.

Agenda included consideration of questions as realization of tasks of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, realization of the Program on enhancement of financial literacy and investment culture of the population.
