Participants

Participants of the financial center are professional participants of the securities market that have the certificate of the state registration issued by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation of Activities of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty or certificate of accreditation as a financial center participant as well as the license to perform the broker and/or dealer activity issued by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organizations. Banks, professional participants of the securities market carrying out investment management of pension assets and retirement saving plans cannot be financial center participants. The continuing legal entity located in the city of Almaty is a mandatory condition for obtaining of the status of the financial center participant.

Professional participants perform the following types of activities:

- brokerage activities;

- dealer activities;  

- securities management activities;  

- clearing;

- depositary activities;  

- maintenance of the register of securities holders;

- trade arrangement in the securities market.
