The second period

The second season of the National Game "Stock Exchange" will be started on October 23, 2008 and will last for seven weeks till December 22, 2008.

Organizers of the game are the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation of activities of the regional financial centre of Almaty city, compenies Deloitte and Renaissannce Capital, Ministry of Finance and Fund "Samruk-Kazyna".

Many active users of Internet has become participants of the given project, what gives evidence about the interest of Kazakhstani citizens in the project and opportunities of investing in share market in the future. "Activation of exchange trades will create new space for investing free financial resourses",- marked Deputy Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation of activities of the regional financial centre of Almaty city Chingiz Kanapyanov.

The winners will be rewarded by cash prizes and succesfull students will get an opportunity to undergo a training in the largest Kazakhstani and international companies. Besides that, the best team will be awarded by certificate for free education on any course of Academy of RFCA.

In the framework of the project in September and October there were conducted 20 seminars in several cities of Kazakhstan and all the interested people got an opportunity to find out more about country's share market prospects and the second season of the game.

Managing partner of Deloitte Darrel Haddaway noticed that the rules of the game were changed, and the most significant change is the quantity of transactions that can be made on the floor.

In the first season there weren't any limitations and now during the second period the players are not allowed to make more than 20 transactions. Organizers have made such decision in order to equalize players' chances - if some players can be on-line and make transactions all day long the others not more than an hour during the day. On the other hand this step will decrease the quantity of manipulation with system that took place during the first period.

The other revolutionary step is introduction of new approach of defining week sessions' winners. "According to rules of the first game the prise should be given to the player who fixed the largest portfolio on results of Friday. Practice showed that at the most beginning th top-10 leaders went ahead and it was very difficult to catch up with them. During the secon season winners of week will be defined according to increase of portfolio.

This arrangement will equalize chances of all the registered players to be awarded by 600 000 tenge ($ 5 000)",-reported Mr Haddaway. However the final prize - 3 000 000 tenge ($25 000) will be given to player with the largest portfolio.

From October 23 till November 3 there will be conducted the training period. On Monday November 3 all the results will be zeroed and the game for big prizes will begin.
