Dynamic development of the country's economy

Kazakhstan is one of the rapidly developing countries of the world. Thus, when world GDP increment was 3.8% in 2007 (UN data), the rate of growth of the Kazakhstani economy was 8.5%. Besides, over 80% of all foreign investments attracted to the Central Asia Region fell on Kazakhstan.

For example, in 2007 the volume of direct foreign investments was USD17.5 bln. It exceeds the indicator of the previous year by 65%. In general, Kazakhstan in one of the leaders by mobilization of foreign investments in the economy among the countries of the former USSR. Thus, from 1993 to 2007 Kazakhstan raised USD 68.8 bln. in direct foreign investments or over USD 4.4 ths. per capita.

The growth in prosperity of the Kazakhstani population promoted to the increase in consumer demand, thus, acting as one of the factors of the economy growth.

The rapid growth of the economy, in whole, created good environment for development of domestic companies which, in its turn, is favorable for development of the stock market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
