Securities rated by national agency were listed for the first time on February 19, 2010

Kazakhstan Mortgage Company became the first financial institute rated by the RFCA Rating Agency.

On February 19, according to the decision of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) mortgage inflation indexed bonds of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange KZP05Y06C494 for the sum of KZT8bn were included to the official list on category “Rated debt securities”.

“Derivation of credit rating by domestic issuers will allow to increase confidence of investors to these securities and transparency of the issuer, whereas rating is carried out after comprehensive analysis of activity of company”,- considers Aslan Kaligazin, acting director of Development department, ARA RFCA.

As of today, this issue is the fifth issue of mortgage bonds in the framework of the third bond program “Mortgage organization “Kazakhstan Mortgage Company”, registered by FSA of RK on March 11, 2007 to the total sum of KZT50bn, and twentieth issue of the “internal” bonds of the issuer that were listed in KASE.

As it is known, from January 1, 2010 there was enacted the norm of listing rules that requires rating of the debt securities in the process of listing.
