RK Ministry of Finance issues MEUZHKAM for a total of KZT 18bn

Special trading in state long term treasury bills of Finance Ministry with 18 years (6480 days) maturity period was held in KASE trading floor on Feb.25 (MEUZHKAM-216 third issue).

The total volume of placement is KZT 18bn (148,34/$1), margin is 0,01% above the inflation. Nominal value is KZT 1000, coupon is paid once a year.

Nine primary dealers participated in trading, 17 applications were made.

MEUZHKAM are the state bonds placed among accumulative pension funds of Kazakhstan. During the first half of maturity period MEUZHKAM may circulate only among pension funds. Further it may circulate without restraint in the market.
