KMG EP declared the date of the next specialized trades on purchasing of privileged shares on KASE

Astana, April 21, 2010. KazMunaiGaz Exploration Production JSC (KMG EP) declared that the next specialized trades on purchasing privileged shares of the company in the trading system of KASE will be conducted from April 30 till May 28, 2010.

In the framework of the program of purchasing privileged shares the company has already purchased approximately 281 thousands of privileged shares for a total KZT5,98bn.

The date of the next trades will be declared additionally. The company will place an announcement before and after conducting every specialized trade. In the announcement there will be indicated conditions and results of the conducted trades.  

Listing and the program of purchasing will give shareholders of privileged shares an opportunity to carry out trades on transparent and more liquid market of stated securities. At present the major portion of KMG EP privileged shares are possessed by 30 thousand people, including workers of the company and members of their families.
