There was created Kazakhstan association of professional participants of securities market

Today during the special press-conference the group of operators of the national stock exchange announced on creation of Kazakhstan association of professional participants of securities market (KASD).

The association is created on initiative of BTA securities JSC, Vernyi Capital JSC, RESMI IFD JSC, KazCommerts Securities JSC, Secntras Securities JSC, Troika Dialog Kazakhstan JSC and Halyk Finance JSC. The initiative group had support of Association of financiers of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan stock exchange and Central depository of securities that also plan to become members of KASD.

The main purpose in creation of the association was – introduction of high ethic standards of professional behavior in practice of domestic stock market, based on mutual acknowledgement and trust, conscious abidance of norms of legislation, rules of trades and settlements of the stock exchange.

“To my mind, creation of the association is historical event. Development of the stock exchange is very important for our country in order to realize the Program “Blue Chips”, and we need shares of our largest issuers and corporations were placed not only in London, but in Kazakhstan stock exchange too”,- remarked Serik Akhanov, Chairman of the Association of financiers of the country.

First of all KASD is planning to formalize constituent and program documents, register as a legal entity, and form internal regulations and procedures.
